I am in an education program that requires us to hand-make many of our materials. Prismacolor Art Stix are a lifesaver--they make short work of large expanses, and they allow me to create many shading effects I'd otherwise work a lot hard at. I do wish that there was some holder available--ithe disadvantage of the pure pigment stick is that it gets on your hands and makes it much more likely that you'll smear. I wish that more of the natural colors were available either as part of a set or as individual sticks. The various grays are sorely missed.
