Here below the official posters of Eagle Eye, the upcoming paranoid thriller starring the young dandy Shia Labeouf:(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf), a young slacker, and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan), a single mother, are the unwilling actors of a Machiavellian machination, and are framed as terrorists...Will they find a way out?:)

I thought one Shia LaBeouf was enough, however according to the makers of the Eagle Eye poster we need five! Maybe LaBeouf took the movie tagline, r‘If you want to live you will obeyn’, a bit too seriously and demanded five different images of himself on the poster or else the crew would get beatings.

At face value, there might not be enough out in the wild to really have you all in a tizzy about the upcoming Dreamworks thriller Eagle Eye, which stars Shia LaBeouf as a regular dude caught up in a vast conspiracy controlled by a mysterious voice on the other side of a telephone. But I will say that you should be at least interested based on some of the parties involved. It is directed by D.J. Caruso, whose previous work includes The Salton Sea and last year ’s surprise thriller Disturbia. He8’s a perfectly capable director with a very clean visual style. As well, the cast is also solid 1— we cani’t ignore the fact that Shia LaBeouf is a good actor and Michelle Monaghan has also never really let us down, despite being in some pretty bad flicks over the past few years (Made of Honor and The Heartbreak Kid, to name a few). So as you can see, this film has a solid lineup. And now, it has a poster (Click to Enlarge):

We've got a new poster from Eagle Eye tonight for your amusement, and that's because it's considerably unimpressive. But then again, the poster for Disturbia, the last Shia LaBeouf and D.J. Caruso team up, was also quite ugly. Hopefully by now everyone has seen the trailer, which on the contrary does kick ass, because while this poster doesn't make me any more excited, I can watch that trailer over and over and remain hyped. I really still have high hopes for Eagle Eye, despite this mediocre poster, but that's because I enjoy Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan and really think D.J. Caruso always does a great job. Plus the story was imagined by Steven Spielberg, which, to me, means it's got to pretty badass, no?
