Removing an engine from a vehicle requires tools that can maneuver the engine and hold its weight so that the engine doesn't have to be completely disassembled before removal. An engine lift plate connects to the high point of the engine and has multiple lifting points to adjust the pitch of the engine during the lift. The high connection allows you to attach the lifting plate to a cherry picker with a minimal amount of extended chain. This gives you the advantage of extra height to clear the body components of the vehicle.
