I was having a lot of problems with battery life. I deleted Sprint Mobile E-mail, I now just go online to check my e-mail. I also found out that my battery life is much better if I don't let it completely drain before I charge it. I charge my phone every morning and unplug it as soon as it is fully charged. I have also found that the Centro does not being connected to the charger after it is fully charged. My battery seems to drain faster when I plug it in while I am asleep and let it remain connected to the charger for a few hours after it is charged. I used data quite a bit, send and receive about 50-100 texts a day, and talk about 30 minutes a day on the phone and at the end of the day I usually have about 70% battery power left.

I have sprint mobile email set up on mya Centro and my phone is not set in sprint only, my battery seems to last pretty much all day with ALOT of data use and texting etc. I have to have my phone off the charger from like 6 AM until 11 PM for this to actually die. Maybe try to update Sprint Mobile Email. You will go to Sprint Mobile Email, press Menu (next to ALT) and then choose check for updates. If this is available it can update this.

Got my Centro from Sprint on 7/1. Mid-September, noticed that the red light that indicates the phone is charging was flashing and never turned green. Saturday, 9/27, the phone wouldn't charge. It won't recognize that the plug (provided by Sprint) is plugged in. Moved the plug to several different wall sockets--no difference. Car charger wouldn't work, either. Only way to charge was via USB from PC.

Called Sprint, who referred me to a repair center. THREE repair center visits later, Sprint determined that the plugs were all loose because they were moved around during charging. I explained that three chargers--the one Sprint provided, a Palm brand car charger and a Palm brand travel charger I keep at the office--SIMULTANEOUSLY failed to work. This doesn't seem like a plug problem. It seems like a plug socket problem on the Centro.
