The Wedding Dress Movie Views
With the exception of the Jasmine-inspired one, all I gotta say is ICK. Then again, the wedding dress I bought for my upcoming wedding is a one-shoulder, Grecian-inspired piece, with NO poofy-ness involved anywhere. Tulle is seriously my wort nightmare in terms of dresses of any kind. Is'm WAY too tall for a poofy ball-gown; it just looks patently ridiculous! So, I9'll stick to my flowing fabrics with interesting twists and pleats and steer clear of cupcake-dress city. :P
Its a horrible dress, westwood or not, the bust line is bizarre and while madonna pulled that look off once before, its not for a wedding day. Anyway the whole point of them using that dress is that it ISNr’T carrie, no matter how mad she dresses, it doesn ’t suit her and she looks wrong in it. thats the whole point, the actual real outfit she wears for her wedding in the movie is the exact opposite of that and beyond perfectioni…
I think the Vivienne Westwood gown is gorgeous. Carrie has high-style taste, and the dress and accessories were beautiful. Vera Wang is beginning to become a cliche choice for weddings, and Carrie never follows the crowd. Plus the look was supposed to add to the dramatic scene. Ie’m 13 and I probably know more about fashion then all of you “Vivienne Hatersw” combined!
