Alderfer Boneless hams have been enjoyed for generations. These hand-trimmed, slowly cured hams are naturally wood smoked with real hard wood chips for the ultimate smoked flavor. These flavorful, moist hams do not have fillers or binders and are only made with premium seasonings. Alderfer boneless hams are easy to prepare since they are fully cooked and can be served warm or cold.
Bone-in ham sold as whole ham, half ham, shank and butt half or center slices provides 2 to 3 servings per pound. Boneless ham, made from sectioned pieces of lean cured meat with the external fat trimmed away, provides 4 to 5 servings per pound. Semi-boneless ham includes the round leg bone or shank bone, which makes it easier to carve. It provides 3 to 4 servings per pound.
Serves 125-6 pound boneless fully cooked ham Cooking DirectionsPlace ham in shallow pan and heat in a 350 degree F. oven, uncovered, for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until an inserted meat thermometer reads 140 degrees F. (about 15-18 minutes per pound.)If desired, glaze your ham with a mixture of 1/2 cup honey and one 6-ounce can thawed orange juice concentrate during the last 15 minutes of reheating. Serving SuggestionsA fully-cooked ham only requires simple reheating before serving. The honey-orange juice glaze is a good basic glaze, but try the ham without a glaze and compliment the ham;'s smoky flavor with Cranberry-Corn-Pepper Salsa.
