Footwear designed specifically for protection during training. There are many different models and types, but most incorporate features to cope with the stress caused by the forces that occur when the foot strikes the ground and the forces exerted by the sideways movements of the foot whilst still in contact with the ground. The parts of the training shoe include the arch support, external heel counter support, heel counter, heel tab, insock, midsock, midsole, and outsole.Training shoe

I work out 3x/week with a personal trainer performing strength training and cardio work. Initially the Nike Free Cross Trainer was a pleasant upgrade over my older Nike Shox and Nike Pegasus model. However after 3 weeks, I do notice minimal lateral support when doing shuffles on a treadmill or side~to~side activity. One countermeasure is to lace the shoe using all of the eyelets. Reduced shoe weight is definitely a plus. I am curious to see how long the shoe will last as I have only worn for 3 weeks.

As a strength and rehabilitation coordinator in the NFL, it is my job to find new ways to develop better fitness components in our athletes. The Strengthnreg; Shoe has helped us develop both a more explosive and faster athlete. I have not found a better training system for on-field performance than the Strength-reg; Shoe.
