Armed And Delirious Views
Armed & Delirious (released in Israel and Germany as Granny and in other European countries as Dementia) is a 1997 computer game for Microsoft Windows. It was created by Makh-Shevet Ltd., and published by Sir-Tech. An adventure game, it has many puzzles along the way as the player, as a delirious grandmother, tries to save her family. Her family, who were cruel to animals, are imprisoned by the Great Rabbit. It is filled with Monty Python-type humor.
Boasting one of the strangest stories in video game history (and there have been a few weird ones throughout the years), ARMED ( DELIRIOUS places you in the role of a demented grandmother who must save her family from an evil rabbit. Travel through five worlds in search of clues to the mystery of the Mad Rabbit. The game is packed to the gills with puzzles, challenges, and riddles all of which were designed by the Mad Rabbit, himself. Throw your sense of logic out the window and get ready for one weird ride.
In style and conception, Armed & Delirious is a breath of fresh air, a surreal and light-hearted bit of gaming that will keep you befuddled for many long hours. Lovers of Pythonesque silliness or anyone looking for something completely different may overlook the amateurish execution of design and puzzle mechanics here. Generally, however, A&D is blander than it thinks it is and certainly less clever and entertaining than it should have been.
Third Person Released as Granny, Dementia, and Armed and Delirious "Granny noticed that things were getting, well, a little strange. Even her loyal sausage could tell something was wrong. When she found out her family had been swallowed into space by the Mad Rabbit, she decided that enough was enough. No more games: it was time to kick some lupine butt. And so this delirious but determined lady set out on the adventure of a lifetime.
